The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate in Madurai sentenced three men to seven-year imprisonment for attacking a Police Head Constable in 2020 under the influence of alcohol.
Judge S. Assan Mohamed sentenced Vignesh, Rajesh and Naveenkumar of Arapalayam to seven-year imprisonment for attacking S. Sathuragiri, who was serving as Head Constable at Karuppayurani police station.
The trio attacked Mr. Sathuragiri under the influence of alcohol after he questioned them for creating a ruckus.
