Amid rising summer temperatures, the Tiruchi City Corporation has rolled out an action plan to mitigate the impact of extreme heat on those waiting at the busy traffic junctions across the city.
With mercury levels hovering at 37° Celsius and above in recent days, the city has been experiencing intense heat, particularly in the afternoon.
