Tiruchi’s auto accessory companies deck up vehicles for campaign trail

As candidates of political parties launch their campaigns ahead of the Assembly elections this week, automobile accessory and modification companies in Tiruchi are cashing in on orders for customised vehicles to be used on the campaign trail.

“We have been covering cars with specially designed vinyl stickers publicising political parties, with a prominent display of their leaders, local candidates, logos and slogans. We take one day to design the stickers according to the customer’s requirements, and two days to manually apply the sheets all over the vehicle,” Alagar, manager, Annai Stickers, told The Hindu on Thursday.
