The Tirupati police have reiterated their resolve to make the temple city a ganja-free district.
Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu on Friday outlined a four-layered strategy to curb the menace. The plan includes creating awareness among students in schools and colleges about the harmful effects of narcotic substances, initiating legal action against those involved in smuggling, and identifying habitual offenders to be booked under PIT NDPS (PD Act).
