The Hyderabad traffic police announced traffic diversions in parts of the Kulsumpura area for two days owing to sewerage pipeline repair works being taken up by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
As per the traffic advisory issued on January 23, 2026, excavation work is being carried out to address a leakage in a sewerage pipeline between Laxmi Nagar near pillar number 68 and Balika Bhavan, within the limits of Kulsumpura traffic police station. The diversions will be in place from January 24 to January 25.
As part of the arrangements, vehicles coming from Attapur will not be allowed to proceed towards Balika Bhavan and the flour mill. Such traffic will be diverted at pillar number 68 towards Rethibowli, Nanal Nagar and then onwards to Balika Bhavan and the flour mill.
The traffic police have appealed to commuters to take note of the diversions, plan their journeys accordingly and cooperate during the period of the works. Citizens have been advised to follow real-time traffic updates through the Hyderabad Traffic Police’s official social media platforms and to contact the traffic helpline for assistance in case of emergencies.
