Training held for election expenditure agents in Kozhikode

The election authorities on Friday (March 27, 2026) conducted a training session for election expenditure agents of various candidates on compliance with legal requirements. Agents from all 13 Assembly constituencies in Kozhikode attended the one-day session, which explained in detail the procedures for maintaining expenditure records and making them available for inspection. District Collector and District Election Officer Snehil Kumar Singh reviewed the sessions. According to officials, candidates in the Assembly election fray are permitted to spend up to ₹40 lakh on their campaigns.
