Travelling public of Periyanaickenpalayam resent impediments in boarding Mettupalayam-bound private buses at Gandhipuram

The travelling public in Periayaickenpalayam town are understood to have complained to the transport authorities about the difficulties they face in boarding private moffusil buses bound for Mettupalayam from Gandhipuram in the city.

The private bus crew in most cases, it is learnt, prioritise passengers bound for Mettupalayam.

According to Krishnakumar of Periyanaickenpalayam, women in jobs and students face the suffering due to such a practice. By and large, the passengers bound for Periyanaickenpalayam or Thudiyalur do not face the problem in buses operated by the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation.
