Police officials producing the accused arrested in a treasure hunt case along with seized explosives at Hindupur in Sri Sathya Sai district on Saturday.

A man was arrested in Sri Sathya Sai district for allegedly digging at a forest location in search of hidden treasure and for possession of explosives, police said on Saturday.
The accused, identified as 40-year-old Manku Naidu, was apprehended while digging at Muchchalagutta area in Chilamathur mandal. After receiving information from some local people, a police team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (Hindupur) K.V. Mahesh rushed to the spot and detained the man.
