Tributes paid to Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga on his 37th death anniversary

Tributes were paid to late leader Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga on the occasion of his 37th death anniversary in Vijayawada and at Machilipatnam on Thursday. 

Vangaveeti Ranga’s daughter, Vangaveeti Asha Kiran paid tributes in Vijayawada. Addressing the media, she clarified that she was not joining any political party and said that no political announcements would be made from the Ranganadu platform. She expressed her resolve to strengthen the Radha Ranga Mitramandali. As part of the anniversary observances, annadanam was organised, with food served to thousands, reflecting the spirit of service associated with Vangaveeti Ranga’s legacy.

Another programme was organised under the auspices of the United Andhra Pradesh Vangaveeti Radha Ranga Mitramandali at Koneru cetnre in Machilipatnam. Mines and Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra, APSRTC chairman Konakalla Narayana Rao, Jana Sena Party in-charge and DCMS chairman Bandi Ramakrishna, and Mitramandali president Rayagiri Sriram Mohan Rao (RSR) offered floral tributes to the portrait of Vangaveeti Ranga. Later, leaders and supporters paid homage at various statues of Ranga located across different localities in the city.

Speakers at the public meeting recalled the life, struggles, and sacrifices of the late leader. They described Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga as a mass leader who dedicated his life to the upliftment of the poor and oppressed sections of society, stating that his ideals continue to inspire people’s movements even decades after his martyrdom.

A large number of Ranga’s followers and Mitramandali members, including Kotte Venkata Rao, Madivada Ramu, Valishetty Tirumala Rao, Logishetty Swamy, Vadlamudi Chinna, Radhika Madhavi, Lankishetty Neeraja, Venna Suresh, Manepalli Usha Rani, and others, participated in the programme.
