TVK topples decades of dominance by Dravidian and national parties in Sivaganga district

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has secured victory in all four Assembly constituencies in Sivaganga, putting an end to the district’s long history of electing candidates from Dravidian and national parties.

Sivaganga, Tiruppattur, Karaikudi and Manamadurai (SC) constituencies in the district have all elected TVK candidates in the 2026 Assembly elections.
