TVK’s new-age campaign sweeps Coimbatore district

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), which secured six out of the 10 constituencies in Coimbatore district in the Assembly election, largely relied on unconventional strategies to reach out to voters, while other players relied on conventional methods.

The party’s campaign strategy and the election result have stunned the rivals as its founder C. Joseph Vijay did not even conduct a road show or public meeting in Coimbatore district.
