Two women, sixtyfive-year-old Laxmibai Rudragoudar and sixty-year-old Baravva Kobadi, who were working in a farm, died when a sugarcane tractor hit them in Satti village near Athani of Belagavi district on Wednesday.
The tractor driver was backing up the vehicle. He had no idea that the two women were working behind the vehicle. The trolley hit the two women and they bled to death.
A case has been registered.
