Two die in separate accidents in Kadur

Two people have died in two separate accidents in Kadur taluk of Chikkamagaluru since Tuesday.

Thimmaraju, a resident of Kadur, suffered serious injuries when the two-wheeler he was riding was hit by an unknown vehicle near Channapura Gate on Kadur-Chikkamagaluru Road on Tuesday night. The passers-by shifted him to Kadur hospital, and from there he was shifted to a private hospital in Shivamogga. He succumbed to injuries on Wednesday morning.

Thimmaraju’s wife Geetha has lodged a complaint with the Kadur police seeking investigation into the accident.

In another case, Lokesh, who was riding a two-wheeler, was hit by a car on the Bengaluru-Honnavara Road on Wednesday. The car driver hit the two-wheeler, and Lokesh died on the spot due to serious head injuries. His wife Bhuvaneshwari lodged a complaint with the Kadur police.
