Two minors held for stealing vehicles in Hyderabad, eight two-wheelers recovered

The Mailardevpally police in Hyderabad apprehended two minors in connection with a series of automobile thefts and recovered eight two-wheelers from their possession.

According to the police, the case came to light after Rahul Reddy, a resident of TNGOs Colony in Mailardevpally, reported that his Activa 125, bearing registration number TG07AH9555, was stolen from the parking area at his house on September 20. 

He had parked the vehicle at around 3 a.m. and noticed it missing when he woke up at around 9 a.m. A speaker from the Ganesh pandal set up in front of his house was also found missing. 

Cases were subsequently registered at Mailardevpally police station under Section 305(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Following the complaints, police formed special teams and examined CCTV camera footage from various locations to identify and trace those involved in the thefts.

The investigation led police to two teenagers, one aged around 14 or 15 years and the other aged 13 years, respectively. Both were identified as residents of Nallacheruvu and Kukatpally.
