The police intensified patrols and reviewed CCTV footage after they received multiple complaints related to goat theft, leading to the identification of the vehicle linked to the crimes.

Two persons were arrested by Katpadi police in Vellore on Tuesday for stealing at least 15 goats in the area for the past few months.
The police said that arrested persons were identified as N. Gopi, 45, and his accomplice B. Suresh, 23, residents of Katpadi, and were working as wage labourers in the area.
