Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday (May 1, 2026) said the Labour Department has been instructed to form a new wage board and ensure that all workers, particularly those employed in industries with 10 or more employees, receive equitable wages.
Addressing the âShramveer Gaurav Samaroh 2026â on International Labour Day in Lucknow, he said industry and labour were interdependent. âIf industry advances, workers will also advance; and if workers thrive, industries will flourish swiftly.
