Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Monday stood at 133.90 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 526 cusecs and a discharge of 400 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 56.86 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with nil inflow and a discharge of 1,514 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 8,143.52 mcft.
