A native of Tamil Nadu was electrocuted while pruning trees at a coffee estate in Karemane near Chikkamagaluru on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Armugam, 39. He is survived by his wife and four children. He used to take contracts for tree-pruning in coffee estates across Chikkamagaluru district, carrying out the work with a team of labourers.
