Workshop held on ‘Uyare’ gender campaign

A media workshop to create awareness of ‘Uyare – Uyaratte Keralam, Valaratte Pangalitham,’ a Statewide campaign being launched by the Kudumbashree on January 1, was held here on Monday. State Gender Council gender consultant T.K. Anandi inaugurated the workshop. The campaign aims at enhancing women’s participation in the workforce from 20% to 50% and creating safe workplaces.
