
Participants of JIPMER’s training programme on preventive vigilance that was held recently.
The principles of preventive vigilance, ethical governance, financial propriety and accountability were underscored at a training programme hosted recently by JIPMER.
The “Preventive Vigilance Training Programme” was organised as part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), a press note said.
During the training session, Amrithalingam V, Former Director of Accounts & Treasuries, Government of Puducherry, provided valuable insights on preventive vigilance, ethical governance, financial propriety, transparency, and accountability in public administration.
The session laid emphasis on proactive vigilance measures and best practices to prevent irregularities and strengthen institutional integrity.
About 100 employees across various departments and sections of JIPMER attended the event.
The programme was designed by the Capacity Building Unit (CBU), JIPMER, led by Vir Singh Negi, JIPMER Director, Ravi Kumar Chittoria, Officer-in-Charge, Capacity Building Unit (CBU), and Rangabashiam, Deputy Director(Administration).
Nanda Kishore Maroju, Chief Vigilance Officer(CVO) and Hawa Singh, Senior Administrative Officer participated, the press note said.
