World AIDS Day observed – The Hindu

World AIDS Day awareness events were held here on Monday.

Collector K. Elambahavath, who signed the ‘AIDS Awareness Banner’, flagged-off the awareness cultural events to be organised across the district. The cultural team will visit various parts of the district to create awareness among the public on AIDS and the medical assistance available in the government hospitals.

The Collector also stuck AIDS awareness stickers on vehicles.

Dean, Thoothukudi Medical College Hospital M. Sivakumar was present.
