Youth held for sexually harassing woman over phone

The Suththamalli police have arrested a youth for allegedly sexually harassing a woman over the phone.

Police said K. Dhakshinamurthy, 27, of Alwarkarkulam in Thoothukudi district sexually harassed a married woman from a village under the Suththamalli police station limits over the phone. When the harassment continued despite stern warning from the victim, she filed a complaint with the Suththamalli police.

After confirming that Dhakshinamurthy had sexually harassed the woman over the phone, he was arrested by the Suththamalli police on Thursday.
