YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) State coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Sunday emphasised the need to prioritise the constitution of party committees, calling on leaders to execute the process in a time-bound manner.
Addressing an online conference with regional coordinators and district party presidents, Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy described the committee formation exercise as a special drive to be completed by the first week of February.
He said that party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had instructed that the appointments be systematic and meaningful.
Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy highlighted the critical role of the committees in building a robust organisational structure, and urged leaders to expedite the formation of village and ward-level committees, ensuring that all related data was accurate.
Revealing plans to connect with nearly 15 lakh cadres directly, he said the initiative aims to create a disciplined and well-organised workforce.
Digital managers had already been appointed in every constituency, and orientation programmes were underway to guide leaders on committee formation, he said.
Pilot projects in the Kadapa Parliament constituency, Vemuru, Punganur, and Madakasira had been completed, he said. To monitor the process closely, a task force had been set up, he added.
