About 300 police personnel participated in a training session on rescue and first aid conducted by the Tiruchi District Police and First Heart Foundation, a non-governmental organisation, at the Armed Reserve Police Ground in K. K Nagar, on Saturday. Qualified instructors from the NGO imparted rescue and first aid techniques to personnel from the highway patrol, law and order, and Armed Reserve Police divisions who provide first aid to victims of road accidents and victims of disasters, said an official press release.
