Trader, sister, mother found dead at home in Belagavi

Three members of a family were found dead in Belagavi, Karnataka on July 9.

Santosh Kurdekar, 44, a trader, his mother Suvarna, 65, his sister Mangala, 25, were found dead in their house at Joshimal in the old city. Neighbours informed the police.

Police said the family was anxious about the outcome of a long-pending financial dispute.

The youngest daughter of the family, Sunanda, has been admitted to a hospital. Doctors said she was suffering from complications arising from consuming poison. They are trying to save her.

Officers from the Shahapur police station visited the spot. A case is being registered.
