The K.K. Nagar police on Friday arrested four persons on charges of trespassing into the house of Councillor Malarvizhi Rajendran of the DMK (Ward No. 64) in Tiruchi and damaging some household items on Thursday besides abusing and assaulting her.
The arrest was made after a case was booked on a complaint lodged by the councillor’s daughter-in-law. The police had cited 21 persons as accused in connection with the case. Police sources gave the names of the arrested persons as Balamurugan, Chellamuthu, Rangabhasyam, and Sudarshan.
