In an effort to enhance postal services, the Telangana Postal Circle rolled out the Advanced Postal Technology (APT) 2.0 Project across all 5,727 post offices in the State.

According to a press release, the network includes 32 Head Post Offices, 689 Sub Post Offices and 5,006 Branch Post Offices. P.V.S. Reddy, Chief Postmaster General of Telangana Circle, participated in the formal rollout of the initiative at the Hyderabad General Post Office.

The project seeks to integrate digital tools for faster, more transparent and doorstep-enabled services. The upgraded IT infrastructure supports four service channels — across-the-counter services, doorstep delivery by postmen and Grameen Dak Sevaks, online platforms and authorised franchise outlets.
