DU to release list of vacant seats today

Delhi University will display the list of vacant seats for the second round of counselling on the candidates’ dashboards at 5 p.m. on Thursday. Once the list is displayed, applicants will have a day to reorder their college and course preferences.

DU released the first seat allocation list for undergraduate programmes on July 19, with 93,166 allocations against 71,624 seats. It will release the second seat allotment list on July 28.

Meanwhile, for the students who were allocated seats, the varsity has extended the deadline to pay fees – from 5 p.m. to 11.59 p.m.

Before entering the admission phase, the university advised students to be ready with documents and preferences, as the process would be sped up this year as the university is scheduled to begin its academic session on August 1.
