Andhra Pradesh floods LIVE: Pulichintala Project on Krishna river maintains high discharge

Amid sustained heavy inflows from upstream reservoirs, the Pulichintala Project on the Krishna River continues to maintain high discharge levels to regulate water storage and ensure reservoir safety.

As of 9:00 a.m. ,the Pulichintala Project is receiving a total inflow of 2,51,259 cusecs, all of which is being released downstream. These inflows are being fully contributed by NSTP (Nagarjuna Sagar Tail Pond), with no direct catchment inflow or contribution from the Musi River reported.

The current water level at Pulichintala stands at 52.13 meters (171.03 feet), slightly below the Full Reservoir Level (FRL) of 53.34 meters (175 feet).
