IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge

India lost the doubles and mixed doubles matches as it went down 3-4 to Mexico in the last league match of the IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge tennis tournament in Barcelona.

While host Spain emerged the champion, India was placed fifth ahead of South Africa in the six-team competition. Maaya Rajeshwaran’s injury proved decisive in depleting the defending champion.

India’s Araadhya Kshitij won the best sportsmanship award.
