Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha released the final results of 6,100 constable posts, including 3,580 civil (men and women) and 2,520 APSP (men) posts in Police Department, at the Andhra Pradesh Police Headquarters at Mangalagiri on Friday (August 1, 2025.)
Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta said the notification was given on November 28, 2022, and a total of 5,03,486 candidates applied for the posts online.

State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Chairman R.K. Meena has said Gandi Nanaji, of Visakhapatnam City, stood top in civil police constable, in men category, by scoring 168 marks.
“Gorli Ramya Madhuri of Vizianagaram, stood top in women category by securing 159 marks. In APSP men category, Merugu Atchuta Rao, of Rajahmundry, stood top by securing 144.5 marks,” Mr. Meena said. Training for selected constables will begin from September 1, said Ms. Anitha.

Additional DGP (Law and Order) N. Madhusudhan Reddy, IGP (Administration) R.N. Ammi Reddy and other officers were present.
