Arya Vysya Sangham-Vizianagaram new president Ravva Srinivas and secretary Kapuganti Ravi urged Andhra Pradesh Government to put special focus on the development of Vizianagaram by allocating lands for the new markets in Vizianagaram-Bhogapuram international airport region, Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram-Parvatipuram and other routes.

Addressing the association members in Vizianagaram on Saturday (August 2, 2025), Mr. Srinivas said Vizianagaram which had played a key role in North Andhra’s economic activity would get back its glory if the government would create infrastructure for the further growth of trade and business activity.

Mr. Srinivas who is also former Secretary of Vizianagaram Chamber of Commerce said that a delegation of the new body would meet the public representatives and submit a representation for the opportunities available for the speedy development of the Fort City.

Mr. Ravi said the development of 100 ft road from Vizianagaram to Bhogapuram airport would spur economic activity and ensure more jobs for the youngsters. The outgoing president Vetcha Satyanarayana Murthy, secretary Macharla Chandra Sekhar Gupa and others were present.
