Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 134.60 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 1,049 cusecs and a discharge of 1,867 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 67.91 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,542 cusecs and a discharge of 869 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 10,071 mcft. Veerapandi recorded a rainfall of 2.4 mm and Sothupparai dam 1.5 mm in the last 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Saturday.
