663 title deeds distributed in Wadakkanchery constituency

A total of 663 land title deeds were distributed at the pattaya mela organised in the Wadakkanchery constituency. The event held on Saturday was inaugurated by Revenue Minister K. Rajan, who reiterated the LDF government’s commitment in empowering people by making them rightful owners of land.

“This is a transformative initiative aimed at turning people into landowners. For the first time in history, a State has launched a ‘Pattaya Mission’, conducted land title assemblies, identified the landless, resolved their issues, and granted them ownership,” the Minister said while inaugurating the pattaya mela held at GUP school, Varadiyam. He also noted that efforts are ongoing in collaboration with the Forest department to resolve issues related to forest land titles and expedite their distribution.

MLA Xavier Chittilappilly presided over the function. District Collector Arjun Pandian, Tahsildar T. Jayashree and others participated in the function. Revenue department officials, who played key roles in resolving land disputes and enabling title distribution in the constituency were felicitated during the function.
