Two farmers died on the spot in a road accident on the National Highway, near Kaikaram village, Unguturu mandal, in Eluru district on Tuesday (August 05).
The deceased were identified as 71-year-old G. Srirama Murthy and 41-year-old P. Chiranjeevi, natives of Kaikaram village.
The mishap occurred when a speeding private ambulance proceeding to Tanuku from Hyderabad, hit the bike on which the duo were travelling. Police shifted the bodies to Government Hospital for post-mortem and took up investigation.
