16 kg of banned tobacco products seized from Tirunelveli bound train in Dindigul

The Government Railway Police seized 16 kg of banned tobacco products from a Tirunelveli-bound train at Dindigul Railway Junction on Wednesday.

The police personnel inspected the Purulia-Tirunelveli Express. As the train reached Dindigul Railway Junction, the police personnel conducted an inspection and seized 16 kg of banned tobacco products that was kept in a bag in an unreserved coach. The bag was left unattended. The police seized the bag and handed over the banned tobacco products to the Dindigul Food Safety Officer.
