In view of the upcoming Anthiyur Gurunathaswamy Temple car festival, which is scheduled to take place from August 13 to 17, the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC), Erode region, has announced the operation of special bus services.
According to a release, special buses will be operated from various locations, including Erode, Bhavani, Guruvareddiyur, Gobichettipalayam, Sathyamangalam, Ammapettai, Mettur, Kavundapadi, Bargur, Vellithiruppur, and Ennamangalam, to facilitate smooth and convenient travel for festival-goers.
The festival, which includes the traditional horse and cattle fair, attracts thousands of visitors from across the State and neighbouring States. The release urged the public to make use of the special transport arrangements during the festival period.
