24 selected for President’s Medal for Distinguished Service and Medal for Meritorious Service

On the occasion of Independence Day, the Centre has announced the conferment of the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service and the Medal for Meritorious Service to 24 officers/personnel of Tamil Nadu police. The medals are conferred twice a year on Republic Day (26 January) and Independence Day (15 August) as per Government of India Guidelines.
