
Incessant rain has been lashing Kalaburagi for the last several days.

Several parts of Bidar district received moderate overnight rainfall with the city recording a maximum of 18 mm of rainfall against normal rainfall of 5 mm in the last 24 hours (from Monday morning to Tuesday morning).
As per data provided by the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre, Bidar and Humnabad taluks each recorded the highest rainfall of 23.8 mm, followed by Basavakalyan taluk with 20.2 mm rainfall.
Aurad taluk recorded 17.8 mm rainfall, Bhalki and Chitaguppa taluks each recorded 13.8 mm, Kamalanagar 13.6 mm and Hulasuru taluk recorded 12.1 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours.
Above normal
Kalaburagi district recorded a maximum of 11 mm rainfall against a normal rainfall of 4 mm in the last 24 hours.
Kamalapur taluk recorded the highest rainfall of 19.2 mm.
Chincholi taluk recorded 14.4 mm rainfall, while Yaddrami and Kalagi taluks each received 12.2 mm, Shahabad and Chittapur each received 9.8 mm, Afzalpur and Sedam taluks both received 8.4 mm rainfall.
Afzalpur taluk received 8.4 mm, Kalaburagi taluk 7.9 mm and Jewargi taluk recorded 7.2 mm.
