Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday (August 23, 2025) announced ₹1 crore insurance coverage for regular workers of municipalities and ₹20 lakh for the outsourced workers in the event of death.
In an interaction with the sanitation workers of Peddapuram municipality in Kakinda on Saturday (August 23, 2025), Mr. Naidu has added that ₹1 crore of insurance coverage would also be offered to those who survive with permanent disability.
The family members next to the Municipality’s permanent workers would be given final aid of ₹8 lakh for the education of the children of the permanent worker.
