Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu told the TDP leaders not to rest on the laurels won by the party in the form of the impressive victory achieved by them in the 2024 general elections, as the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) was bent on creating a wrong impression about it (TDP) among the public.

Addressing a meeting on the composition of the Parliamentary party committees on Saturday (August 23, 2025) night, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said the YSRCP had destroyed institutions, leaving the coalition government with the daunting task of undoing the damage.

Nevertheless, the problems were being solved one by one with due focus on welfare and development. He asserted that the Super Six schemes were being successfully implemented even as the YSRCP tried all its tricks to mislead the people as part of its disruptive politics.

The TDP should thwart YSRCP’s mischievous campaign that the capital Amaravati was flooded during the recent spell of heavy rains, and the gates of Prakasam barrage have collapsed.

Mr. Naidu said the YSRCP was creating law and order issues and blaming the government in order to derive political mileage. It (YSRCP) tried to create unrest by spawning lies that social security pensions have been done away with.

The CM said a State — level success meet on Super Six would be held at Anantapur on September 6 to tell people what the government had done in spite of severe constraints.

He told the leaders and cadres to concentrate on further strengthening the TDP, saying it can’t afford to be callous as all the good work being done by it would come to a naught if the YSRCP’s game plan was not foiled.
