Actor Rajesh Keshav remains in critical state after collapsing in Kochi hotel

Actor and anchor Rajesh Keshav, 47, is in a critical state in a hospital in Kochi, days after he was found collapsed in the bathroom of a hotel.

Keshav was rushed to the hospital from the hotel, where he was attending a programme on Sunday (August 24, 2025) night.

According to hospital sources, he suffered a cardiac arrest and underwent angioplasty. Since then, he has been on ventilator support in the Intensive Care Unit.

Though his cardiac functioning has improved since then, hospital authorities on Wednesday (August 27, 2025) confirmed that his brain remains slightly affected.

“His condition remains critical, and anything about his recovery can be confirmed only after the next 72 hours,” said hospital sources.

Keshav’s friends, colleagues and well-wishers have taken to social media with prayers for his quick recovery.
