A team of officials led by District Revenue Officer K. Madhavi will visit the Protector of Emigrants, Hyderabad, under the Ministry of External Affairs, to study its services to strengthen and expand the operations of the Konaseema Centre for Migration (KCM), in Amalapuram.
The KCM is actively engaged in addressing the grievances of stranded locals in foreign countries. They have been facilitating their safe repatriation and monitoring fake agents.
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema District Collector R. Mahesh Kumar said that the team of officials would study the functioning of the Protector of Emigrants to understand its services.
