A.P. Cabinet clears energy, other projects in State with ₹50,613 crore investment

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday gave clearance for various industrial and energy sector projects, recommended by the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) on August 28.

Addressing a press conference, Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said that the projects for which the Cabinet gave its nod are Navayuga Engineering Ltd. at Paderu (₹15,455 crore), Chinta Green Energy Ltd. in Kadapa (₹15,050 crore), Serentica Renewables units in Anantapur and Kurnool districts (total investment ₹4,400 crore), Bright Future Power Ltd. in Anantapur district (₹3,286 crore), Solar Energy Corporation of India units in Nandyal and Sri Satya Sai districts (₹2,300 crore) and Syrma SGS Technology at Naidupeta (₹1,595 crore).

Hexa Energy BH5 Pvt. Ltd. in Kadapa (₹1,200 crore), HFCL at Madakasira (₹1,197 crore), Apollo Tyres in Chittoor district (₹1,110 crore), IFFCO Kisan SEZ in Nellore district (₹870 crore), ACE International Ltd. in Chittoor district (₹786 crore) and Hindalco Industries Ltd. at Kuppam (₹586 crore) also got the Cabinet approval.

Adani Wilmar Ltd. in Nellore (₹578 crore), Balaji Action Buildwell in Anakapalli district (₹485 crore), Refex Solar SPV 5 Ltd. in Sri Sathya Sai district (₹480 crore), Mother Dairy Ltd. in Chittoor (₹427 crore), Pattabhi Agro Foods in Kakinada (₹408 crore) and Skyroot Aerospace Pvt. Ltd. at Tirupati (₹400 crore) are among the projects that got the Cabinet clearance.

The Cabinet also cleared the following hotel projects: Hilton Garden Inn (Mantralayam), Holiday Inn (Amaravati) and Taj Vivanta (Bhogapuram airport), he added.
