SCCL’s four coal mines secure 5-star ratings at the national level

Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has secured national-level 5-Star ratings for its four coal mines in the last financial year.

SCCL, the government coal mining company, with a distinguished track record in environmental-friendly initiatives, employee welfare and infrastructure development, has once again showcased its excellence by bagging 5-Star ratings at the national level for its four coal mines. The 5-Star Rating Award winning SCCL mines are RG OC-1 Extension from Ramagundam-3 Area, JK-5 OC from Yellandu Area, Underground Mines RK-6 and RK-Newtech Mine from Srirampur Area, a SCCL press release said.

SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N. Balram received the prestigious awards from Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy at the 5-Star Rating Awards Ceremony held in Mumbai on Thursday.
