Under the ‘Apna Ghar Awaas Yojana 2025’ housing scheme, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Friday notified 152 additional flats, which were all booked within an hour, according to an official release.
A total of 76 middle-income group (MIG) flats in Loknayakpuram and as many Economically Weaker Section (EWS) flats in Narela were notified under the scheme.
DDA attributed the prompt booking to its intensified sales and marketing strategy under the supervision of Lieutenant-Governor V.K. Saxena, who is also the chairperson of the authority.
Offered on a first-come-first-served basis, the booking amount of an MIG was ₹4 lakh and ₹50,000 for an EWS flat. The DDA is expected a nearly ₹100 crore revenue from the sale of these flats, the release said.
Launched on May 20, the scheme offers 7,500 ready-to-move-in flats across four income categories — EWS, LIG, MIG, and HIG — in areas like Narela, Loknayakpuram, and Siraspur.
The DDA had already extended the yojana by three months in August, keeping it open until November 26, 2025.
Additionally, the DDA launched a premium housing scheme on August 26, targeting high-end buyers seeking homes in prime localities such as Vasant Kunj, Alaknanda, Jasola, Dwarka, and Rohini. Registrations for the premium scheme’s e-auction are open till September 24.
