Telangana Government Nursing colleges students would be trained in German, English and other languages to help them find employment abroad. Telangana Health department is set to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad on Tuesday (September 8, 2025). 

The government has set up 16 Government Nursing Colleges and gave permission to 23 private educational institutions. The State Health department officials said that with growth in the number of hospitals across the State, surge in the demand for health care at home, the number of opportunities increased for Nurses, as per a press note issued on Sunday (September 7, 2025).

In June this year, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed officials to explore possibility of including Japanese language as an optional subject in nursing courses. Through Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Ltd. (TOMCOM), some of the nursing students from various parts of the State found employment in Japan and other countries.
