Thirteen devotees from Tiruchi, who were travelling in a van on a pilgrimage to Sabarimala, were injured after the vehicle overturned on Tiruchi-Dindigul national highway on Saturday.
The accident occurred near Muthupudaiyanpatti diversion road on the highway around 12.50 p.m. Police sources said the accident occurred as driver Muthusamy lost control of the vehicle. Vehicular traffic was affected for sometime on the highway because of the accident, said the police.
