136 bottles of non-duty paid liquor seized in Shamshabad

Excise officials seized 136 bottles of non-duty paid liquor during inspections conducted near Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad and at Pahadishareef on Friday (December 26, 2025).

Of these, 45 bottles were seized by the Shamshabad District Task Force (DTF). Excise Superintendent Krishnapriya said that the raids were carried out jointly by the DTF team and staff from the Shamshabad and Serilingampally police stations.

During parallel inspections in the same area, four State Task Force (STF) teams and excise station staff seized an additional 91 bottles of non-duty paid liquor, officials said.

Further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of liquor and those involved in transporting it.
