A consultative-cum-review meeting on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, chaired by Electoral Roll Observer and Secretary, Department of Commercial Tax and Registration Shilpa Prabhakar Satish, was held at the Collectorate here.
The meeting presided over by District Election Officer and Collector C. Dinesh Kumar overviewed the SIR exercise and the process of receipt of objections and complaints.
The draft voter list was published on December 19, and the window for the receipt of objections and claims to inclusion by submission of the requisite documents is open upto January 18, 2026.
As part of the SIR exercise, special camps are scheduled over two weekends of December 27 and 28, and January 3 and 4. Eligible voters are urged to visit the camps for inclusion of names through Form 6, deletion of name through Form 7 and corrections to the voter details through Form 8.
The final voter list will be published on February 17, 2026. Voters and persons eligible for inclusion are called upon to apply in the corresponding forms and have their names included.
Voters may also apply online from home on www.voters.eci.gov.in or alternatively on the voters helpline app on phone and may also get details to queries on the toll free 1950. The Electoral Roll Observer instructed officials to ensure the smooth conduct of the special camps.
